The Ressurection

Wow...It's been forever and a day since I was able to grace you with my ramblings. Since the last time I updated, a lot has happened. First of all, I wouldn't be me if I didn't mention the new Brimstone record "War Games" finally dropped on March 13th and has been doing very well with sales. I won't go too much into it, but I'll drop a link to cop the album if your interested

The Relapse

That's right ladies & gentlemen, the one and only, Slim Shady is back. After months of speculation, Eminem has officially released the first video single for his new album 'Relapse'. Em has promised that the album is a return to his roots, personally I'm hoping for more tracks like "Kim" and less "Ass Like That". The new video is definitely vintage Em, but here's hoping that the album delivers on Em's skill and not his marketing. The album drops May 19th 2009.

Listen to "We Made You"

Rock The Bells 2009

Jesus....could you possibly think of a better line up for this year's Rock The Bells Festival?? Nas, Cypress Hill, Talib Kweli, House of Pain & La Coka Nostra, and Tech N9ne!!!! You bet I will be in attendance at the Chicago tour date, there are only 10 stops worldwide. Locations & Dates TBA.

Rock N' Rollin

Speaking of Tech N9ne, the Kansas City King is featured on MIMS' new national record "Guilt". The track, "Rock N' Rollin", brings both emcees together over a grimy guitar driven production from the same man behind Lil Wayne's "Lollipop". Listen to the new track:

Terminator is a National Treasure, but we already knew

From the AP:

The National Film Registry announced Tuesday that The Governator's landmark 1984 flick "The Terminator" is among 25 films that have been selected for preservation in a storage bunker in the hills near Culpeper, Va., according to The Associated Press.

Like I said, we already knew this should happen. Arnold is the best thing not from this country.
